The 'imaginary' friend of a little girl, who turned out to be not quite so imaginary due to her inability to tell reality from fiction and her deep, unwavering belief in him, his personality, his powers and existence. Although he started out weak, over the course of his (admittedly not very long) life he grew more powerful, and essentially fulfilled a protector role in the life of his creator. Being brought into existence by willpower meant most of his early years were spent protecting his creator from that which she feared, slowly gaining sentience, personality traits she hadn't put in the original design and knowledge she herself did not have in the process. As Casique became a thinking being with the capacity for a broader understanding and deeper feelings and emotions, he finally realized that the true solution to the abuse his creator was suffering was to remove her from the situation, and when she wouldn't leave her abusive family willingly, he called the police one night and had her put into foster care.

It was then he found out he could exist completely without her, because she never wanted to see him again, and wherever she is now, she doesn't write. So he lives with her mother, the father now in prison, tending to the gardens and chores, creeping out at night to keep guard over the neighborhood, eternally at home in the dark where the real monsters lay.

Despite his appearance, he's actually quite friendly, polite, and soft spoken. He is, after all, all the traits his creator idealized in a sentient being, and his creator was six when he was made. Unfortunately, this has also led to a very scary side, wherein he will change if people he perceives as weak are threatened. This change is one of physical traits since that was how his creator envisioned him; like many animals, he will look fierce to scare off people before he engages in actual violence. That said, he's very good with children, animals, and is a gentle person who just wants the best for others. Just don't hurt a child in his presence. He will, quite literally, drop you - one hand on your shoulder and you're out cold. It's one of a few powers his creator left him with despite their falling out.
